Hello! Just poppin' in to shout I'M STILL WELL AND ALIVE! Actually, the well
part is not entirely true or at least physically. tl;dr
Limping with a fracture on a toe. Updating frequently through tumblr/twitter. (dA feels more efficient for just art now?) ^ ^;
I rejoined the kickboxing school I used to practice in. I knew it was going to take a toll on me but I had to come back to kickboxing to keep the habit of exercise consistent. At work, I'm sitting for +8hrs in front of a computer,and when I get home I'll do more of the same to draw (sit for too long without any exercise and you're bound to suffer some hamstring shortening). I have even less time for art but its ok, I think I work better between constrains so I avoid procrastinating (I'm a black belt in the art of procrastination)
Taking the lessons with the kids its a lot of fun. They couldn't tell I was not around their age until shifu (the master) told them I wasn't LOL what a party pooper. I used to be a green belt but since I can't remember anything I had practiced earlier I'm going to start over with the white belt.
But the kids teach me everything, they're strong little fellows.
I get home with spams and bruises all over my body, but hopefully this is only for the start. The other day we were practicing some floor kicks and I...fractured a toe. Dunno how but I surely did something wrong when I swiped around and broke it. So no more kickboxing classes until this little guy gets better. But I'm eager to go back to class ASAP!
Doctor said it can only heal with rest. So I rested for a day and avoid walking. PS. Since I have little time for drawing I''m posting doodles in twitter and tumblr. But I have new artworks for the last week of December!
