Because I made the mistake of attempting to draw swans and wet cloth. @ 7 @ I suddenly felt the need to incorporate animals into my artworks, so here goes some silly swans. Also, I recently realized that even though Princess Kairy is a character I made almost 5 years ago, I had never made a decent artwork of just her. I always draw her with Jack tagging along, and even here there's a hint of him LOL. Gotta try that again.
I think is is going to be Kairy's new hairstyle. I swear, she changes every time I draw her. Orz Lets hope this is the permanent look...
The colours are so beautiful and very well balanced. I really like all the greens, this piece was really eye catching and I just had to check it out.
Your attention for detail is great! There were so many details placed on the swans that it looks very realistic, although I find it a little bit odd to if there is a realistic and cartoon (Japanese) together in one art piece. It is like placing a pencil and a spoon together.
I really like those circles in the background though, it makes the girl look all bright even though her colours are dark. Nice thought of balance there.
I have rated only 3 stars for originaity because I have seen such theme before. It wasn't weird but normal, ahahaha The more weird a picture the more original it is and interesting.
Well done to your technical skills though, all proportions are excellent and you are a very good artist.
The first thing I noticed about this picture was the bright colors. The yellow, the orange give this picture a honey sweet appearance. You are really good at portraying your characters. I like how you drew her in dark green, making her pop from the rest of the picture. The vines and swing also have a very special touch that make it unique and beautiful. The swans-flawless. I like the texture in the feathers. The only thing really bugging me about this piece is how the colors don't seem to fit together, if that makes any sense. Like the green and the honey colors don't mix very well. Plus it looks rather unusual for swans to be swimming in the honey, or whatever you intended the liquid to be. I personally think it would look alot better if it was a forest scene with lush green trees and the 'honey' being some small pond. I believe it would really add to the picture. The proportions look very well done, I love how you did her knees especially. I'm sure you had a purpose for doing what you did in this picture, but I hope this helps. Your art is amazing! Keep up the good work
I see you have LOTS of comments, so I'll just point out my favorite part -- The texture/design on the dress. It just adds a nice little "something" to what would otherwise be just a solid color
