So! Remember that background tutorial I promised? I don't know how to go around it, I'm so sorry! Its not easy to explain it when 75% indulges imagination rather than technique. Its difficult to explain, worse when you're not good at explaining at all. XD

To make up for that, I made my first attempt on a video that (1) could briefly show the sketching phase of how I develop a BG illustration (refer to link for more details on this) and (2) do a recording and uploading test for upcoming videos.

Its a bummer that you need 500 subscribers to claim a custom URL on Youtube now, though its also a fair requirement. They'll avoid the use of good URLs being wasted and abandoned. I'm not sure how often I will upload time-lapsed videos like this one (I'm sorry its bad, it wasn't thoroughly planned) but feel free to subscribe, I'll do my best to keep it lively and do stuff on-demand.
